Bringing hope to where it’s needed this Christmas.
This Christmas Season we are partnering with Lifeline Central West to help them raise much needed funds to equip a team of Lifeline Gate Keepers. These Gate Keepers travel out into rural and remote communities that have been affected by drought and offer support, training and hope to those most in need.

Lifeline recognises that a strong framework of tiered support is needed within communities at risk, that closes the gap between those needing help and the help. Their tiered framework builds from general awareness workshops, to Gate Keeper training, specialist intervention skills and medical professionals.
Lifeline Central West’s vision is to purchase a U-Haul type trailer that is equipped with a BBQ/Camp kitchen, water, storage, swags, camp chairs etc. The aim and their desire is to go out into rural and remote communities and meet people where they are at. The trailer and campsite can then be set up by a river, in a shearing shed or wherever the need is, with the idea that it can be used to facilitate ‘Campfire Conversations’ with farmers, community groups, youth, sporting clubs etc and can be easily adapted for a wide range of uses.
As a church we are partnering with Lifeline to support their vision by helping to fund Gate Keeper training and local workshops.
Below are the different ways you can be involved. There are support options for everyone, from kids all the way through to families and businesses.
